You Must Have a Spiritual Rebirth of Your Mind

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful, the Truthful and the Most Just: Who came to North America in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad and raised, or taught, and sent the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to find and raise and teach me:

I greet all of you who are hungry and thirsty for the Truth of religion and the Word of God, and for Truth in general, with the greeting words of peace:

May Allah’s-Salaam-Alaikum.

May Allah’s Peace be unto you.

I never personally met Master Fard Muhammad, nor did I personally meet the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, even when he was here and I was following him. I never met with either one of them, but I don’t ever want you to think that somehow I want to erase the fact that Allah appeared to us in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, because that was a fulfillment of Scripture.

If you try to erase Him, you are erasing a Scripture that said He came in the likeness of sinful flesh, for sin, to condemn sin (the sinful mind) that was in that flesh; and to let you see that even though He looked like them, the mind that’s in Him was not like theirs.

Romans 8:3 says,

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That’s to show you that We are not here to wrestle with flesh and blood. Our problem is not flesh and blood. Our problem is a corrupt mind that has enslaved flesh and blood, because he that sinneth is the slave of a sinful mind. John 8:34 says,

Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Servant, slave, same thing. None of us like to acknowledge being a slave, so we use the word “servant” and then everybody’s happy. But the fact of the matter is: All flesh is a slave to the mind that’s in it. So whether we like it or not, we need to be set free.

We don’t like to hear that because we think we are already free, but if you were already free, you would not be committing acts of evil to your own detriment.

If you see a person sitting down cutting on themselves, you’ll say, “Something’s wrong with them.”

You’ll ask them, “What are you doing?”

Regardless to what their excuse is, you know that they’re doing harm to their body.

What about people who smoke and drink and do drugs and go out and do dangerous things that shorten their lives? They eat poison.

What is the difference between a slow death and a fast death? It’s still death.

So you’re doing things because the mind that’s in you is directing you to do things that are not in your best interest. But you had no choice because that’s all you know.

You’ll hear people say, “I’ve been eating pig all of my life. My daddy ate pig and he lived to be 90 years old.”

And as the Messenger (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) said, your daddy didn’t even get out of babyhood. When it comes to age, Methuselah lived 969 years of age; and you are here bragging that you lived 90 years as though that’s a long time? You died a baby.

Anyway, let’s talk to the people who have disagreements with Us and questions for Us. I want to get that out of the way before I go into a subject matter that will help free everybody from false  religion.

You know, if you can’t present facts, then you don’t have any arguments.

An argument is something that you present that is not only relevant to the person, place, or thing that you are  discussing, but sometimes it contradicts a belief that you have concerning a particular person, place, or thing.

“Fact” is another term for matter, or subject matter. As you know, you can argue about what you’re going to call a particular particle of matter, but you can’t deny that the particular particle of matter exists.

So, that’s the way facts are. Facts cannot be denied, at least not by sane people. When you see a person that tries to dispute or deny facts, then you are dealing with a person that’s not totally sane; and you don’t spend too much time trying to argue with someone who [is not persuaded by] facts.

So I want to help you to understand the facts about religion. I want to go here and read the Book of John. John chapter 3 and the 16th verse

Most people forget who was doing the speaking. If they remembered who was doing the speaking, they would have been a long way towards understanding that the One that Jesus was referring to was yet to come. Let’s start at the 1st verse. It says,

1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same [man] came to Jesus by night…

He didn’t want to be seen obviously, so he visited Jesus at night. It says,

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi [Master]

“Rabbi” means “master”. It says,

2 …We know that thou art a teacher come from God:

If you know that, then why are you out here trying to teach when you know you didn’t come from God?

Well that’s a good question, but we aren’t going to go there. So it says,

2 …We know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

And I will help you understand it more by completing that thought, because the kingdom of God is not discerned with the natural eye of external vision. The Kingdom of God is seen with the inner eye: the mind’s eye.

It’s like the kingdom of agriculture. They did a lot of farming in those days.

The kingdom of agriculture is inside of the farmer who knows the seasons and the times for planting and all of that kind of thing. That kingdom is a state of mind, and except you be retaught (except you be born of that knowledge of that word), you cannot see the kingdom of agriculture.

Okay, so you see what it’s saying. So Jesus simply spoke to Nicodemus in a parable. He spoke to him in a mystery, and Nicodemus didn’t understand what Jesus was saying.

You remember, Paul said in 1st Corinthians 2:7,

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery…

No man was able to open and to understand the Book.

If they had been able to open the understanding of this Book, this knowledge that’s here now wouldn’t be here.

You see, they wanted to keep ruling. Let me tell you something: The first man that God taught and raised to the level of understanding of God was the Jinn. The Holy Quran 15:26-27 says,

26 And surely We created man of sounding clay, of black mud fashioned into shape.

27 And the jinn, We created before [that] of intensely hot fire.

We gave him dominion over all of this stuff (these plants and animals that got their origination in fire).

So that man is a disbeliever. If it’s not something that he can see, feel, and touch, then as far as he’s concerned, it doesn’t exist. You can’t talk to him about spiritual matters because he’s a natural man. We made him natural. So he’s a disbeliever.

Nicodemus said to Jesus, “I can’t believe that. How is man going to be born again?” John 3:4 says,

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

“What are you talking about, man?” Verse 5 says,

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit…

Remember: he said in John 6:63,

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

John 3:5 says,

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Have you ever looked at a prescription when you got it [to take] to the pharmacist? Before you gave it to them, didn’t you look at what the doctor wrote down there? Did you really look at it?

You couldn’t see that. Do you know why you couldn’t see it? Because you had not been born again. And because you couldn’t see it, he knew you couldn’t mess it up.

You know, people would change the prescription if they could do so. Some people want to sell drugs, and they would get a prescription for a painkiller, and say, “I’m going to write so and so in here.”

So thanks to Allah helping them, they figured out a way to do what God did. Remember: he said he was going to be like the most high.

So in his world, he has a way of speaking of controlled substances that you have to have a prescription to get. Otherwise, he would lose control of these substances and it would wind up probably destroying his civilization.

Controlled substances are called that because they are like fire.

You [must] have fire. It would be very uncomfortable trying to live without fire. But you have to watch fire. If you don’t control fire, fire will consume you.

I’m glad that many of those that hate me are listening, because I can reach them through this type of teaching. They start to realize that I am not their enemy.

The mind that’s in them wants us to be enemies because that mind is losing its control over you. I have already fixed it where as I speak, the mind that you have been accustomed to seeking guidance from: that mind is at its wit’s end to deal with me, so it’s sitting there seething and trying to get you to ignore me. So it will tell you, “Throw an insult at him.”

Don’t do it. Don’t listen. Tell him, “Why don’t you argue with him? Now why [is it that with] all of this knowledge that I have gotten from you, I can’t argue with this one man here? I think that maybe I’m on the wrong team here.” [smiles]

So, you all just stick with me. I am casting the devil out.

Does anyone doubt what I just said? I welcome them to argue with me.

Jesus was telling Nicodemus, “You have to be born again.”

Nicodemus didn’t understand rebirth, because it wasn’t time to understand.

You know, you started your life in that physical water, and you were gestated for nine months in water, and you were born of that water. Then Jesus told them, “You have to be born again.”

Remember: Jesus met the woman at the well and he asked her for some physical water, and he told her in John 4:10,

If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Notice, it doesn’t say “you would have asked ME for water”. It says, you would have asked HIM for water, and he would have given you living water.

Jesus always spoke like a Messenger, and not like the author of what he was saying. Remember, he said in John 12:49,

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak [what to say and in what way to say it].

So you could never accuse Jesus of claiming that he was the Lord God. No, because he always spoke of the Lord God as someone separate from him. That’s why he said the spirit of the Lord was upon him. Luke 4:18 says,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

It’s like the mailman. The mailman has the letter and has the words that’s in that letter. He’s carrying them, but he didn’t write it and he didn’t mail it, and he never opens it. He just delivers it; and there’s no sense in you getting mad at him. He’ll say, “I’m just the mailman.”

It’s like the constable when he comes to serve a subpoena. There’s no sense in getting mad at him. The court sent him out there. It’s his job to deliver the summons.

What is another way of saying “Messenger of God”? The Bringers of Truth. The Messengers of Truth.

Why? Why do you need a Messenger of Truth? Because everything that you’ve been learning so far for the past 6,000 years is a lie, and they told you to go to the library (lie-brewery) and go check out a book. Why? So you can carry it and you can bear it on your shoulders.

So we all got used to bearing lies. And where do you get lies from?

You get them from the lie-brewery (library). I know they say “brary”. “Brary” rhymes with dairy. [smiles]

I mean, it is kind of funny.

You have to admit that he tricked us with so little a thing. To-ma-to, to-mah-to. It doesn’t make any difference how you say it: library, lie-brewery. It’s the same thing.

Now let’s see here. So Jesus said in the 5th verse of chapter 3 of John,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit [be born of flesh and of mind], he cannot enter into the kingdom [or knowledge] of God.

It doesn’t make any difference how big of a library you inherit from your daddy and your mama if you can’t read and write English, or whatever the language is that it’s written in. You would just as well say that you didn’t inherit anything, because you can’t enter into your inheritance.

So I inherited the Holy Scriptures because I am the Son of the Messengers of God. Not only am I the Son of the Messengers of God; I am the Son of the devils too.

The devil knows that Allah is God. You think George Washington, Ben Franklin and the [Founding Fathers] didn’t believe in God? They knew that Allah was God. They knew that.

What do you think George W. Bush was talking about when he said we are adding a Holy Quran to the White House library? Why do you think he did that? He knows that Allah is God.

The shriners: You never see any young shriners. Those are some old men, and they know that Allah is God. But they were not made to guide you to God. They were made to guide you away from God until they met up with One that they could not trick or try to lead away from God.

As long as you were dumb enough to follow them, they had rulership over you.

I’m saying this in front of White people. That was his mission. That’s what he was made for. His maker told him to go out and deceive all that he can for 6,000 years (six days). Exodus 20:9-10 says,

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

But the Sabbath Day shall be a holy day unto the Lord, and in it, don’t do it. Thou shalt not test the Lord thy God. If you do that, you are going to be put to death.

So that’s why you don’t hear them saying anything to me anymore. He knows that there’s no way that I can unlock these Books if I was not the Lord Himself, for that’s the only One that could do it. As Jesus said in John 10:2,

But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

Jesus was the door. You notice, the Gospel is in the center of the Bible, like a front door of a house is almost in the center of the house generally.

So the Gospel is the door and it has locks on it, and if Allah hadn’t opened the understanding of it to me, I couldn’t have gotten in; but I’m the shepherd.

So Elijah was given the keys, and he opened it for me. Revelation 5:5 says,

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

So [when] Jesus met that woman [at the well], he said, “If you knew who it was that asked you for water, you would have asked him for water and he would have given you living water wherein you would have thirsted no more.”

Have you ever noticed that when [trying to] solve a problem, whether it’s mathematical or whether it’s a written test, and you didn’t know the answer, that it really bothered you? Then when you did get the answer, you began to be able to share the answer with whoever had the question from that point on. You weren’t thirsty for that anymore.

That’s the water that once you get it, it quenches your thirst forever. What’s 1+1? There was a time when you didn’t know that; but now, that well [of water] is in you. So verse 6 of the 3rd chapter of John says,

That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

Now to me, that’s plain; but I’m the only one that it’s plain to. Allah knew that I would understand it. It says,

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

When I read that, I understand that it’s [saying that] your body is born of flesh. Your mind is born of words. Therefore your mind is spirit and your body is flesh. The next verse says,

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

And that’s literally the Truth. The spiritual rebirth is a rushing sound. I didn’t know what it was when I heard it, but it sounded like the wind blowing; and I remember that happening to me, and it was a very peaceful feeling. I laid down in the middle of the floor and went to sleep after that.

I was trying to read the Bible at that time, and I was laid out in the middle of the floor at home: this little house [where] I was renting [a room] at this man’s place, and I didn’t realize what had happened to me until later—much later.

But I knew that something had happened to me, because I started understanding things that I didn’t understand before; and I was inquisitive about things that I never inquired about before. So I knew without knowing that I was somebody special; that I had something to happen to me.

Then I read it in the Scripture where it says,

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth:

Then I understood. But that happened later.

It’s also true of someone that they are like the wind. Whatever direction they go in, you can’t tell where they are coming from unless they show you where they’re coming from.

Look at how many people tried to understand Jesus, and couldn’t. Look at how many tried to understand Solomon and David and all of the Prophets and Messengers, and never could.

This Book has been locked up for thousands of years. The knowledge in these Books has been frozen like the Artic and Antartic; and now all of a sudden, it’s all melting and being added to the water table.

You notice, I am adding the understanding of the Word of God to your water table (to your knowledge and understanding of the natural creation). I’m adding the spiritual knowledge to the water table, just like the sun is adding the physical water to the water table. It says,

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

He’s too proud to say, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

He says, “How can these things be?”

If Jesus had said, “What things?…” [smiles] That would have knocked him completely out of the box, because he didn’t have the slightest clue as to what Jesus was talking about. Verse 10 says,

Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master [teacher] of Israel, and knowest not these things?

“You’re a master of Jacob, and you don’t know these things?”

Verse 11 says,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We…

Listen at that: He said, “we”, not “I”. We. He considered himself a part of the body of Christ. He said,

…WE speak that [which] we do know…

Who is the “we”? Allah and His Prophets. Jesus was one of the Prophets. He said,

…We speak that [which] we do know [understand], and testify that we have seen [with our mind’s eyes]; and ye receive not our witness.

You are spiritually deaf; and you know that a man that’s deaf can’t hear you. He can’t receive you. “You receive not our witness.” Verse 12 says,

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Nicodemus didn’t even understand earthly things, or he would have known that you’re born of water. Well there’s your lesson to what’s next. You have to also be born of the spirit. But he didn’t even understand what being born of water is. That’s why they do their little ritual and call themselves baptizing somebody in physical water.

You were baptized already. You went through that water birth already. You don’t need to go back into that. That’s in the rearview mirror now. So it says,

And no man hath ascended up to heaven…

No man hath, on his own, guided himself up to the understanding of the Word of God. It says,

And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

“No man hath ascended unto heaven but he that cometh down from heaven, and that One is the Son of Man, which is prophesied of in the volume of the Book—which is heaven.”

Then it says,

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must Elijah come and lift up the Son of Man.”

That’s why the Messenger (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) said in his Divine Sayings, “I alone Allah has raised up to teach a dead man.”

Yep; and I am that dead man that he was raised up to teach. John 3:15 says,

That whosoever believeth in him…

That whosoever believeth in who? In the Son of Man. It says,

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish…

Proverbs 29:18 says,

Where there is no vision, the people perish:

Except a man be born again, he cannot see. He’s blind; and where there is no vision, the people perish. If they try to lead the blind, they all fall into the ditch together.

Why do you keep going from one generation into the next being poverty-stricken, Black brother?

Have you looked at the condition of Black people in the United States? With all of that education that you have, you still have not been able to put an end to the injustice that has been perpetrated from one generation to the next by White people against you.

Now why is that?

You notice, they gave you Martin Luther King. They gave you Malcolm X. Those boys weren’t anything but babies, but you look up to them like they did so much for you.

It ought to tell you something that they were both killed. If God was with them, what are they doing dead? Why were people able to shoot them down? And yet, you follow them.

That’s one thing a dead man always tells you at the end.

You follow him all the way to the cemetery, and then he tells you, “I’m through with you, and whether you like it or not, you are through with me.”

You would like to be through with the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, but you didn’t follow him to the cemetery. You followed him to me; and you have found out that you aren’t through with him. No sir. Not by a long shot.

No, you aren’t through with Elijah. Elijah is right here with me now.

You notice, every time you look up, I’m letting Elijah talk to you. So John 3:14 says,

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness…

When the White man was over there in the caves in Europe, we sent Moses (Musa) in there; and Musa brought him out of the cave. If We hadn’t sent Musa in there after him, that’s where he would be now.

That’s why he was prophesied in the Bible as the “beast that was, and is not, and yet is”. Revelation 17:8 says,

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

So the Son of Man had to be lifted up from a slave mentality—not a cave mentality, but a slave mentality.

That’s what Elijah had to be sent for: He had to be sent because the Lord can’t come until Elijah comes. Elijah had to come and raise the Lord. Malachi 4:5 says,

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

So Elijah told you that Master Fard Muhammad raised him and then sent him. He said of himself: “I was so deep in the mud that Allah could hardly find me regally. Meaning that he could hardly keep his royal robes on to come after me.”

He had to get in the mud with him. A good example is when He used to visit our people and He was trying to teach them. I was told that sometimes they would have dinner, and He would never ask what He was being served. He would just eat what was in front of Him.

You know they were giving Him pig, but He was more concerned about how that would affect them. He didn’t want to embarrass them, and He didn’t want to make them feel like He thought He was better than them, because our people are sick; and we were made sick by White people.

Do you honestly think that a man could enslave you and me for 400 years if we weren’t totally sick and dead and stinking?

Even to this day, our attitude stinks; especially when it comes to each other. We have a very stinky attitude. You have never seen anything dead that didn’t stink after a while.

So He found Elijah. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, “He found me and pulled me out, and then He sent me back to the cemetery to pull you out, Son of Man.”

That’s what he was saying. That’s why in one place, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, “He found me among you, and He found you among me.” [smiles]

Yes, the Truth found Elijah in the midst of all of us dead people, and the Truth found me in the midst of all of those who Elijah had taught. All praise is due to Allah. So he said, “He found me among you, and found you among me.”

Do you see how much you missed from what he was saying?

People were always trying to call themselves correcting the Messenger’s language. You don’t correct a Messenger of God’s language. He knows what he’s saying. You’re the one who doesn’t know. So anyway, John 3:15-16 says,

15 That whosoever believeth [on the Son of Man] should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world [to come], that he gave his only begotten Son…

The world to come, not this world. He that loves this world is the enemy to God, because this world is evil. But God so loved the world that He had in His mind to come that He gave to me—the idea: He put it in my head to bring that world in. It says,

16 For God so loved the world [to come], that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

You notice, the first thing I did was prove that to be true, because I forgave everybody; and I told you that I don’t care what you did before you heard me. It’s all forgiven.

Then people get mad. You remember the man who agreed with the workers for a penny, and then when they came and he started giving everybody the same money, those who had been out there most of the day got upset. And he reminded them, “Did not you and me make an agreement that I would give you a penny?”

They said, “Yes.”

He said, “Well then you take that penny and go, and don’t worry about what I do with what belongs to me.”

Matthew 20:1-15 says,

1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

That’s what the Messenger told everybody that thought that the Son of Man was supposed to come here and kill White people. Then they got mad at me because I said I’m not here to kill White people.

What’s wrong with you? The Book tells you that the Son of Man didn’t come to kill anybody. Luke 9:56 says,

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.

I came to save men’s lives; not destroy them. The man of sin. Well if he’s the man of sin, he’s a sinner. Okay. I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners to repent. Matthew 9:13 says,

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

If he’s so dumb that he rejects this salvation that I’m offering him, he deserves what he’s going to get. I’m not here to beg you.

May Allah’s-Salaam-Alaikum.
