The Meaning of Saviour’s Day and the True Reality of God
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Most Merciful, the Truthful and the Most Just: Who came to North America in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad and raised, or taught, and sent the Honorable Elijah Muhammad to find and raise and teach me:
I greet all of you who are hungry and thirsty for the Truth of religion and the Word of God, and for Truth in general, with the greeting words of peace:
May Allah’s-Salaam-Alaikum.
Now that we understand that the term “God” means “grantor of dominion”, We thank Allah for allowing us to come together again and welcome you to an annual event that we refer to as Saviour’s Day.
This is a very special day that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad established, knowing that one day I would be here teaching on it.
That day has arrived, and I want to lay the foundation for what I’m about to share with you by letting you hear the Honorable Elijah Muhammad express to the world that he was expecting the Saviour to show up pretty soon.
This was in September of 1972. I want you to hear a question that the brother asked the Messenger (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad), and then I’m going to let you hear something from Saviour’s Day 1973. It is very important that you remember that in September of 1972, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was answering a brother’s question here.

Honorable Elijah Muhammad: [Do you have anything to] say to me or ask me before I leave the stand? You’re welcome to stand up and ask. Yes, sir, brother? I think, brother, you better come up closer. My hearing is not as keen as it used to be when I was young like you. I could hear a long ways off.
Brother: Sir, you said something about that you would have to go and have one of God’s names. I think it was about three or maybe four or five years ago that I noticed a lot of friends of mine start naming their children into certain Asian names. I would like you to clear up whether that’s no good, and that you had to get a name from God.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad: You and all your children can be named at once, and that’s what you can get. I can name you.
He’s not going to take the name away that I give, but I don’t want to be so smart to take over the naming of the people. I do know His name, and that’s the name that you have to be named in.
But I expect Him here pretty soon, and I don’t want Him to come and find me taking over His job.

Son of Man: Now what I’m going to do is I’m going to slow this down, because I really want you to understand that this man, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, was a Messenger and he was a Prophet.
Allah revealed to him not just what to say, but He revealed to him in what manner to say it, so that he could help me. So that I could use his teachings to help me to reach you, because when you’ve been deceived by so many people that have come to you telling you that God sent them: So many people have come to us, Black people, and told us that they were God’s representative when they really were not. And they have taken and taken and taken and taken from us the resources, money, and talents and skills and whatever we had that we willingly gave to them; and they messed over us with it.
So I understand that you’re a little, well not just a little—You’re skeptical about anybody who comes to you now claiming to be from God.
So I have a cloud of witnesses with me. That’s what the Holy Scriptures are. They are spiritual clouds filled with spiritual water vapor that you call the Word of God.
Now I’m here today to verify what they said, but especially to verify that when the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said to you that “the Savior has arrived”, he was referring to me.
Listen to what he said again, when the brother asked him about naming people. I’m going to just cut to that part.

Son of Man: That was in September 1972, and now I want you to listen to February 1973.
I’m going to have to go through this whole Saviour’s Day with you, because he was preparing my help. He was here to help me. He was here to help me to reach you in such a way that he could help you accept me.
So I want you to pay good attention to this.
This is Saviour’s Day 1973, and I’m going to let you hear this whole thing here.
I don’t want to cheat you. I’m going to let you hear the introduction of him and everything by Minister Farrakhan and some of the others, and that way you can see the transition between him and my coming. So I want you to listen.
By the way, remember: When he said he was expecting the Saviour here pretty soon, W.D. Mohammed, Louis Farrakhan, Silis: all of them were already there.
So if he was saying he was expecting somebody, that person hadn’t shown up yet.
He almost let the cat out of the bag until some brother interrupted him on dates and stuff, and that was Allah’s way of cutting him out, shutting him off. I remember when the Messenger said that he’s so anxious to teach you that sometimes Allah has to pull his coat, or he would certainly keep talking.
The brother thought the Messenger was making a mistake, but he wasn’t making a mistake. He was telling something that Allah didn’t want told at that time. When he gets to it, I’ll show it to you.
So I want you to enjoy this as much as I enjoyed it. Let me help you understand this. The Book says that He called them gods. Let’s go and read that.
I don’t like just saying something, because you have had enough Bible hearsay.
I’ll tell you what: Is anybody sitting in here that never heard people say, “God said you’re supposed to love everybody”?
Did you hear people say that? Have you ever found that in the Bible?
Audience: No sir.
Son of Man: So people don’t mind lying on God, do they?
Do you know why they didn’t mind lying on God?
Because they did not know the reality of God. They didn’t even believe God existed. That’s why they didn’t mind saying that He said this, or He said that.
You hear them say, “Santa Claus is going to bring you such and such.”
That’s the way they talk about God.
Well that day is gone. You’re going to get in trouble for lying on God from now on. If God didn’t say it, you better not say He said it. John 5:22 says,
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
The Truth judges no man, but hath committed all understanding of Truth to the Son, and given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is man.
Anything other than man can’t judge man. Even the devil told you, a man has the right to be judged by a jury of who? His peers.
Is the printed Word your peer?
Then it can’t judge you. So the Word had to be made what? The Word had to be made flesh. Then the Word can judge you.
Can a medical book heal you? Only when it’s made flesh.
Why is he called “doctor”?
What do you call it when a ship makes it into its destination, and then they tie it? They tie it at a dock.
Well, the man whose mind that the knowledge of medicine goes into and is tied to, he is the “doc-tor”.
It’s time now to learn the Truth about everything. This is the beginning of it. Everything we want to know is going to start being made manifest.
So let’s go to the Book of John. This is the 10th chapter.
I’m telling you now, we’re going to be here a while today. This is John the 10th chapter. I’m going to start off with a statement from Jesus. The 30th verse. Jesus said,
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews…
Notice, it didn’t say “then his fellow Jews”. It says,
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
That wasn’t the first time they picked up some stone and was ready to kill him. The Jews again took up stones to stone him. Verse 32 says,
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
What did Jesus actually say? You know, they call it “shooting” people now. And if you ask them, “What have I done for you to want to shoot me? Huh?”
That’s what Jesus was asking those devils. He said, “Many good works have I shown you from the mind that’s in me. My father. For which of those works do you stone me?
33 The Jews answered him…
Again, not “his fellow Jews”.
I didn’t hear you. Was Jesus a Jew?
If he had been a Jew, they would say “his fellow Jews”. And so it says,
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
[They said,] “God can’t be a man.”
Now listen to this part real good.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law [in the book of Moses], I said, Ye are gods?
They didn’t say that wasn’t written in there. They didn’t say anything. It’s in the 82nd chapter of Psalms, which is one of the Books of what you call the Old Testament, but the people attribute it to being part of the Books that were of Moses. Let’s go to it.
I want everybody to understand. If you didn’t understand, you couldn’t be judged. So you have to have understanding. And that’s why it’s written, if I had not come and spoken unto them, they would not have had understanding that they were sinning. But now, they don’t have an excuse. John 15:22 says,
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
See, Allah sent me here to do away with all excuses. Now John 10:34 says,
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Okay, let’s go to the law. This is the 82nd chapter of Psalms and the 6th verse. It says,
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High [knowledge].
I put that in there so you’d understand it. Then it says,
But ye shall die like [other] men, and fall like one of the princes.
The Messenger (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) said, “Gods have died before.”
That’s in “Message to the Black Man”. Everybody went crazy when he said, “Gods have died.”
Well, he was talking about the gods that this Book is talking about. He wasn’t talking about the gods you’ve been talking about, because the gods you’ve been talking about didn’t exist. Am I right or wrong? Tell me if I’m right. [smiles]
You’ve never been in the military, so you don’t get it. [smiles]
But anyway, this is wonderful knowledge. It is knowledge filled with wonder, and if you don’t believe it’s knowledge filled with wonder, how many times have you picked up the Bible and attempted to read it, and said, “I wonder what this is talking about”?
So it’s full of wonder, isn’t it? Alright, now let’s go back. Jesus told them in verse 34,
Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Now listen to what he said next. In the 35th verse, he said,
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
You can’t call the Scripture a lie, and the Scripture can’t contradict itself. That’s what “broken” means: contradicting itself. Jesus said,
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him [are you saying of him] whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest [you’re blaspheming]; because I said, I am the Son of God?
How is it blasphemy for me to say I’m the Son of God, and he called them whom the Word came to, God?
That doesn’t wash, does it? Okay, I’m going to get back to that in a minute. I’m going to finish this verse though. It says,
37 If I do not the works of my Father [whom I claim is God], believe me not.
“If I do not the works of righteousness.” That’s what my Father, God, is: He’s righteous. It says,
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not [don’t believe me].
38 But if I do [the works of righteousness], though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
Everybody that’s in here, you are in here because you know the works that I’ve been doing. You don’t know me, but you sure know the works I’ve been doing.
I was a stranger to you, but the works that I’m doing is not a stranger to you. You know that Messengers of God before, came uplifting people who were down. They came giving more back than people gave to them.
The little boy brought Jesus three fish and some barley loaves; and Jesus told him to sit down and he fed the multitude.
You can’t tell me that I’m no’t giving you back more than you gave me. That’s my intention: It is to always give you back more than you gave me, so that if you ever turn on me, you’ll have to condemn yourself; because I’m going to ask you what I did to you that [made you] turn on me.
Did you notice that Malcolm X never could say that the Messenger wronged him? The Messenger didn’t do anything to Malcolm. Malcolm got jealous of the Messenger. So Jesus said in verse 38,
But if I do [the works of my father], though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I [am] in him.
The Father is the Truth. The Truth is in me, and I am in accord with the Truth. I am in agreement with it.
You can’t tell me that you don’t think that I’m in agreement with the Truth if I’m doing what the Truth says to do. Then I and the Truth are One. Alright.
Now, let’s get back to this. Verse 35 says,
If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came…
The way that’s written, you weren’t going to ever understand it; because [of what] it says in another place when the woman was told to remain silent in the church, and she thought she should be able to speak as much as the man. The scripture asks a question. [Let’s go to] 1st Corinthians chapter 14, and let’s see what it says. Let’s start at the 29th verse. It says,
Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
This is another way of showing why I’m here and I’m the Judge. You notice, when the Scripture talks about this world, it says this world is a shadow of the world to come. Colossians 2:17 says,
Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
A “shadow” is a dark silhouette. It’s a dark version that’s shaped like you. Sometimes the shape is totally distorted, but other times, the shape is really good.
So you’ll notice that in courts, you have a prosecution, you have a defense, and you have a judge. Let it be in the mouth of two or three witnesses. The prosecution is a witness, the defense is a witness, and the judge is also a witness; but he’s going to be the judge of who’s presenting evidence properly. That’s where he judges. They have a jury sitting over to the side. Remember, it says in John 18:20,
20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
Matthew 26:25 says,
In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to take me?
Jesus said, “I didn’t say anything to you in private. Everything I did was in public. Well, you’re coming out after me as against a thief. You don’t have to ask me what I said. Ask them what I said.”
Public hearings are where truth is found, not private. If you’re trying to have a conversation with somebody about something that they said publicly and they tell you to wait and let’s talk about it in private, no, that doesn’t work for me. If you didn’t want it talked about in public, you shouldn’t have brought it up in public. So let’s get to the crux of this.
Let’s get on back here. 1st Corinthians 14:29 says,
29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other [fella be the] judge.
30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first [one] hold his peace [and listen, and let’s see what he has to say].
Tell me something. When have you ever known me, when I’m teaching, to hear somebody trying to say something, and I didn’t stop?
I’ll ask, “Who was that? Is somebody saying something?”
It’s because I’m not standing up here lying to you. If I’m not the Son of Man, I don’t know I’m not. Even Royall saw that, as I told you. You heard him. Royall said, “I visited this brother in Mississippi, and the brother really believes he’s the Son of Man.”
Royall didn’t really believe he was Allah. That’s why he was shocked that I really believed I’m the Son of Man. He was just lying; and anyone other than me would never have known it. But I knew he was lying when he didn’t challenge me on being the Son of Man.
Do you know why? Because Allah is the Son of Man. That’s what the Messenger (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) told you. Well, how can you be Allah and not be the Son of Man?
So, that monkey didn’t swing. Now let’s keep going here. It says,
31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
How did Allah send his Prophets? We sent warner after warner. When Jesus showed up, what did John say? John 3:30 says,
He must increase, but I must decrease.
What did the Honorable Elijah Muhammad say? He said, “God said to Israel, I will lead them in a land I will give to them on the condition that they believe and that they obey. But they didn’t obey. So the promise can’t be fulfilled because you don’t give me a chance. I want to keep my promise, Israel, but you won’t let me keep it. Who brought you in this place, Israel? When there was no bread, who fed you? I only want to show to you, Israel, that I am God. And now, brothers and sisters, I want to show you that he who has found you and me is God. And he wants to do for you that which will stand forever.”
The same thing that happened to Israel is a prophetic story of you. It’s not one that looks like me in this country that is equal to me in their brain of what they can and cannot do.
I haven’t met anything I can’t do yet. Any time I need to know how to do something, Allah shows me how.
I’ve told the brothers to try it. When Allah is with you—There’s not a White man in America that could equal Ben Franklin, George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson when they sat down and wrote that Declaration of Independence. They can’t think that way. If you paid them, they couldn’t produce a document like that. And if they did, they would be honest and have to tell you, “Allah helped me.”
Ben Franklin told them. He said, “We called on the Father of Lights to get this done.”
It’s just like me: I didn’t know this. I had never been able to stand up and talk like I’m talking now.
Where am I getting this from? And if I’m too ungrateful to give credit to the One who gave it to me, He ought not let me have it. All praise is due to Allah. So 1st Corinthians 14:31 says,
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.
You notice, they use the word “comforted”. Haven’t you noticed that when the Word of God is being recited to you in its true understanding, it always comforts you?
The Word of God is comforting. It is as comforting to our mind as a nice cushioned chair is to our body. Then it says,
32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
Now, what are the spirits?
Brother: The Words.
Son of Man: The Words. The spirits or Words of the Prophets are subject to who? To the Prophets.
You go to court and you listen to advocates. We call them “lawyers”.
The client is sitting there quiet, because the client can’t speak the language of law.
When you hear an attorney say, “Objection, your honor”, that’s between those two lawyers.
One lawyer’s words are subject to the judgment of another one, and he can contradict them and say, “No, that’s inadmissible.”
The judge (the third one) will either say, “overruled” or “objection sustained”, meaning, “withdraw that. The jury will disregard that.”
That tells the jury that no matter what you hear, if it is inadmissible, it’s the same as it was never said, and you cannot take that into account when you deliberate; and if you can’t do that, don’t get on that jury. It says,
And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
Any time you want to judge what a Prophet said, you better have the Words of another one, because your judgment doesn’t count.
Why do you think I always ask you, “What have you found in the Scriptures that condemn me?”
If you haven’t found anything in the Holy Scriptures to condemn something that I’m saying or doing, I suggest you be quiet.
Judge not, because the minute you tried to judge me when I told you that I’m the Son of Man, you should have left yourself out of that. Open up your scriptures and see if any judgment in there condemns me. And if it does, do like they do in court.
Say, for instance, “The Supreme Court found that in Joe vs Mary that this was overruled. They found in Mary’s favor.”
Well, you have a precedent there, which condemns the person that’s trying to undo that precedent. See, this is what the people now don’t understand [about] what Donald Trump and all of them were pulling with undoing Roe vs Wade and all that kind of stuff.
That had too much precedent of freedom. Understand something. The very basis for the Constitution is: They formed it in order to form a more perfect union.
Now, how in the world are you going to have a perfect union with your wife or with your daughter or with anybody who has sons or daughters, and you’re telling them that their daughter doesn’t have freedom over their own body?
What man that calls himself a father is going to let you tell his daughter she isn’t free? Not only that, you’re going to tell this man’s daughter that if a man rapes her, she has to have the baby.
You’re out of your mind. Do you see how far they have fallen? See, you don’t have to wonder what the Founding Fathers had in mind, because it wasn’t even their mind. It was God’s mind to bring this country into existence. And they were in agreement with it, or they wouldn’t have written it down. So they were successful.
So when a court ignores precedent of courts equal to them [that came] before them, it would be like me ignoring Jesus and contradicting something Jesus said. Do you remember when they tried to get Jesus to contradict Moses? Jesus didn’t contradict Moses.
He simply told them, “Moses’ law says stone her. Okay, whoever among you is without sin, you pick up the first stone and have at it.” John 8:7 says,
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
He didn’t say, “Don’t stone her.” But she didn’t get stoned, did she? Because for you to be here trying to judge this woman and talk about her sin, the wages of sin is death. It didn’t say the wages of a particular sin or this one or that one. And if you have never sinned, and we know you have, how come you aren’t dead? How come we aren’t stoning you?
So you have to be careful how you try to pick up God’s Word and use it for something it wasn’t meant for. And that’s the way they’re doing their own Constitution, picking it up and using it for what it wasn’t meant for, and they are destroying themselves. Proverbs 11:29 says,
He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind:
If you burn your own house down, you better be ready to face the wind. So anyway, let’s go further.
I know you’re listening, White people. I said it for you. You have a big, beautiful mansion here called the “United States of America”. If you want to set it on fire and burn it down, that’s on you. You aren’t going to blame that on me. I tried to stop you from burning it down. But anyway, 1st Corinthians 14:32 says,
And the spirits of the prophets [the words of the Prophets, the Holy Scriptures] are subject [only] to the prophets [Holy Scriptures].
That’s why the Messenger compared it to math. He said Islam is as true as mathematics, and mathematics is equally as true as Islam. You cannot go outside of math to prove math.
You have to stay in math; and in order to prove the Word of God, you have to stay in the Word of God, because He already said it. The Holy Quran 6:115 says,
Shall I then seek a judge other than Allah, when He it is Who has sent down to you the Book fully explained.
Do you notice the explanations I’m giving you? I got them from the Scriptures. Now it says,
32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
33 For God is not the author of confusion…
Why does he say, “for God is not the author of confusion”? You don’t send one Prophet to say, “thou shalt not kill”, and then send another one to say, “now, look, I want you all to kill Jesus because that’s my plan for salvation”. That’s confusion.
That’s how you know Christianity is a lie; because the same God that said to Moses, “thou shalt not kill”, all of a sudden when Jesus got here, He wanted Jesus to come and be murdered? Now do you see the contradiction there? That’s confusion. Well, it says,
33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace [He’s the author of peace, not confusion], as in all churches of the saints.
What is that? The church is the mind. That’s the place of the saints. And in all minds of the saints, there’s always peace.
When have you come around me and had to ask me, “Son of Man, what’s wrong?”
There’s nothing wrong, because I’m at peace.
This world can’t take my peace. They didn’t give it to me. I try to show you how not to let them take yours, and you don’t listen. You’re huffing and blowing at somebody just because they said something to you, you didn’t like. You didn’t have to pay that any attention. You took it and ran with it.
No, I wouldn’t waste my time thinking over anybody’s stupidity. You couldn’t be talking to me, talking like that. And if you were in my presence, I’d tell you, you better agitate the gravel, boy. So it says,
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
Now this is what we went over here for. The law is that the head of every man is Christ. 1st Corinthians 11:3 says,
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man [whose head is Christ];
You know, there’s a lot of us that try to twist that. You aren’t letting the Messengers of God be your head, but then you want to get a woman to bow to you. That doesn’t work, brother. And she’s a fool if she bows to you and you’re tripping. You want a wise woman, and a wise woman isn’t going to marry a fool. So it says,
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands [whose head is Christ] at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
I remember when the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, “There is nothing worse than a woman-led man.”
You know, I’ve watched this: A man whose woman runs over him. Watch how he treats other men. He treats other men like his woman treats him. He doesn’t have any self-respect, so how can he respect another man? So then after saying that, it says,
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
When you have a gathering of the Prophets, don’t come in here in the Holy Scriptures with me, calling yourself explaining the Scriptures to me. What is wrong with you?
If you knew anything about what the Scriptures are talking about, you wouldn’t have needed me in the first place.
You had your chance, and you have all of this confusion out here. Do you want to know how much confusion it is? Count the religions. That’s how much confusion you have. Now before you could say anything, it says,
36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
Now the way that’s written, it’s confusing, because the Messengers of God: their Words came to everybody. Well, didn’t it? It didn’t come from you. It came to you.
Well what is that really saying? “Came the understanding of the Word of God from you, or to you?”
Now you understand. John 10:35-36 says,
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the [understanding of the] word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
“If He called them gods, unto whom the understanding of the Word of God came, then sayest thou of me, thou blasphemest, because I said I’m the Son of God? And if I didn’t understand the works that I’m doing, you would be able to condemn me.”
Remember, the Scripture says, “No one knows the mind of the Lord but the Lord.” 1st Corinthians 2:11 says,
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Well then, now you see why Master Fard Muhammad, when He spoke to the Messenger, he (the Messenger) always had to go dig for the answer. And if he couldn’t figure it out, then he wasn’t the one.
So the Honorable Elijah Muhammad knew that I would have to grow to understand him, and he said to me, “I know you will not agree with me; but you will grow to agree with me.”
Well he was talking to me there, period. In Matthew 11:15, you heard Jesus say,
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Well the one that has the ears is the head. The head of Christ is God Himself. That’s what they told me, that I had to grow into the knowledge of before I could agree with them.
I can’t stand up here and claim to be God and don’t know what I’m talking about. I’m not talking about what you’re talking about, because you don’t know what you’re talking about when you say “God”.
But look how I’ve granted myself now, because I understand these Books: I’ve granted myself dominion over everybody on the planet. So what does that make me? The grantor of dominion.
That’s simply put. And if anybody is trying to say something different, you let me know. I’m not running from you.
I have horns coming out of my hands, and there is the hiding of my power. So it’s written in Habakkuk 3:4,
And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
Now let’s get back over here to John chapter 10. It says,
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
You didn’t say it was blasphemy when it (the Scriptures) said they were God. So how is it blasphemy [when I’m] telling you I’m the Son of God? That’s what he was arguing with them about. And they couldn’t argue. They didn’t have anything else to say after that.
So Jesus went back and forth with these devils for the longest until finally his mission was done; and Allah said in the Holy Quran 3:54,
When Allah said: O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence…
So Jesus told them in John 16:7,
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
“It’s expedient for you that I go away, because if I don’t go away, the Comforter isn’t coming. But if I depart, I will create a vacuum and send him unto you.”
So this is me. I got my marching orders in writing. It’s right there. Ezekiel 2:3 says,
And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel…
Jesus told you that the Words he was speaking weren’t even his. John 7:16 says,
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
“I’m just saying what he told me to say.”
Now it’s all making sense. I want you to listen to Saviour’s Day 1973 again. I told you we’re going to be here a while.

Minister Farrakhan: We can bear witness to the world that there is no God but Allah who came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, and that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad most surely is His last and the greatest of the Messengers of God.
We who were present on this glorious afternoon saw a man, Elijah Muhammad, a triumphant man, a man, as it were, who had gained victory over the afflictions of self. A man who had gained victory over that which the Prophets had predicted of him that he should fulfill.
And we saw a man evolving and arriving at a new stage in his life. We saw a renewed Elijah Muhammad. We felt a new spirit.
We bore witness to a greater Truth. We had a magnificent Saviour’s Day.
We thank Allah in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad for blessing those of us who were present to be present.
Those of you who were not able to journey to Chicago, we want to share with you the beauty and the magnificence of this historic occasion.

Son of Man: Now remember, September of 1972 was five months before the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was at Saviour’s Day, and he had told them that he was expecting somebody there pretty soon.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad: As-Salaam-Alaikum! In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, to whom praises are due forever, the Lord of the Worlds: Brothers and sisters, I’m so happy to see your smiling faces who have come here from far and near to help Us to give thanks to Almighty God Allah who came in the Person of Master Fard Muhammad, to whom praises is due forever. A Saviour’s Day.
Think about what we are here to worship. A Saviour’s Day.

Son of Man: Didn’t you ask me to teach you on what the purpose of Saviour’s Day is, and the understanding of it? Well, he’s telling you.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad: Who is lost that we had to have a Saviour’s Day?
You may be seated.
I am a very happy man. A little small, happy [man]. I’m so small that you have to look for me.
But if you keep your ears open, you will hear me.
We have lots of people that are making our Saviour’s Day worship one of the most beautiful ones I ever saw. Coming in, We saw just a wall of Our believers and Our people that are seeking to learn what a Saviour’s Day looks like.
We have plenty of people in this country, millions of them that would be here if they understood as you and me. Think over what day We say we are worshiping. A Saviour’s Day.

Son of Man: I think I better say a little bit on that. The Book says in Malachi 4:5,
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful [Saviour’s] day of the LORD:
Why? Because the Sabbath Day is the Saviour’s Day. Luke 19:10 says,
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
So when you say the Sabbath Day, you are talking about the Saviour’s Day.
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad couldn’t tell you that. It wasn’t for him to tell you. It was for him to give me the keys and then say, “Now you tell them everything.”
And that’s what I’m doing. I was dead to the knowledge of myself, and I had to experience that in order to understand how we could do a lot of things that we just didn’t have any business doing.
But when you don’t know yourself, how can you be yourself?
